Set it up once, and fix it afterwards if you need to.
Documents first, then the people, then the fields each person fills in. If you spot a mistake after it has gone out, you change it in place rather than starting again.
Correcting a packet that is already out
Change a misspelled name, swap in a revised document, move a field somebody cannot reach. The people who have already signed stay signed, and the correction is recorded alongside everything else so the history shows what changed and when.
It never counts against your allowance. Neither does sending it again, or voiding it and starting over when that is genuinely what you want.
Fields you can find again later
Every field carries a name you write. That name is the column heading when you export the answers, the header when you upload a spreadsheet to send in bulk, and the way one field refers to another.
Products that generate those names for you produce a spreadsheet nobody can read six months on. We suggest a name from the words next to where you dropped the field, and you can overwrite it.
